Disable WordPress mobile view

If you want to see the desktop version of your site, also on mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, etc.), just follow the instructions below.
A simple method to disable mobile view is to comment the next line in header.php file from theme directory (/wp-content/themes/themename/).
Before:

<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1">

After:

<!-- <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1"> -->

Modified line is a meta tag that refers to the “viewport”, which is a mobile meta tag to specify dimensions for a mobile browser to use, and well as control some functionality such as browser scaling, meaning the zoom.
I tested this on Ample theme for WordPress, but I’m sure it works on most themes.
Don’t forget to make the same change after an theme update!
